Will it work on my guitar?

If the thickness of the body of your guitar is in the range 28 – 56 mm it will fit. In inches that’s 1.1 in to 2.2 in.

When will I receive my Performaxe?

For orders placed when Performaxe is in stock

Your Performaxe will be shipped within 1 to 3 working days from the moment of your order. As soon as it ships you will automatically receive an email with a tracking number. The email will be sent to the address you used for placing the order.
If you didn’t receive any, please check your “promotions” or spam folder.
To track your shipment you can click in the link you’ll find into the email or copy the tracking code and use it in the website which is a very nice third-party website for tracking expeditions.
Delivery time is 3 to 20 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For pre-orders placed when Performaxe is out of stock

If you pre-ordered your Performaxe please refer to the preorder page for the next shipping date. Your unit will ship as soon as it is ready. When your Performaxe leaves our workshop you will automatically receive an email notification and a trackingĀ  for your shipment.

How long will my order take to get here where I live?

From the moment you receive your tracking code your item will take a variable amount of time to get to you, depending on where you live.

Although the situation is getting better, please consider that the covid-19 emergency has significantly slowed down deliveries and unexpected delays may still occur.

Current average delivery times from the day the item is shipped (please refer to the store page for the shipping date) are as follows:

Italy – 3 working days
Europe – 5 to 7 working days
U.S.A. – 7 to 15 working days
Japan, Australia, Canada – 10 to 15 working days
All other destinations – up to 30 working days

Will I get a tracking code?

As soon as your Performaxe leaves our workshop you will automatically receive an email notification and a trackingĀ  for your shipment. If you can’t find your tracking code please look in your spam/promotions folder for an email from “ShippyPro”. If you still have difficulties just send me an email at and we will sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

To get a refund your order must be in one of the following states:

1) Order not shipped

If your order has not been shipped yet you can cancel it at any time.
Just send an email to with your name and the email you used to place the order and your order will be canceled and refunded in less than 48 hours. Usually much less. Please note, PayPal commission fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

2) Order shipped, but tracking info indicate package as lost

If your package is lost you will get a full refund as soon as the tracking info shows that it was indeed lost

3) Order shipped but not delivered within 60 days

Your package will be considered lost and will be refunded if the delivery takes more than 60 days from the moment of the shipping

4) Item returned

In line with EU laws for online purchases, you have a 14-day window to return your unused item after it has been delivered to you. Please note, the 14 days are solely for you to hand the item over to a shipping service for return; the time it takes for the item to actually be delivered back to us is not included in this 14-day period.

You can use your Performaxe during this time, and if the item is shipped back to us in like-new conditions (damaged packaging doesn’t count), you will get a 100% refund of the order you placed as soon as we receive the Performaxe back. Items must be shipped back to Italy, all return shipping costs and taxes are to be paid by the customer. Please email before shipping.

Why is the product priced the way it is?

I understand some may find the price point elevated. However, it’s important to clarify that the operation actually runs on margins well below what is typical in the industry.
I don’t work with distributors because the low margins don’t allow for additional markup on their end. The product is, in fact, expensive to manufacture.

This is not a product from a major brand that capitalizes on its name to demand premium prices. As a single individual running this operation, economies of scale are not in place. Each unit is hand-assembled personally by me in Italy, ensuring the highest level of quality and durability.

Thus, what you are considering is not a mass-produced item, but rather a boutique product crafted with a singular focus on quality and durability.
It is designed and made by one guitarist for fellow guitarists.
